OUR STORY
Certified Organic, Regenerative Farm
My husband and I bought this slice of Santa Barbara heaven in 2020. It was only a commercial vineyard then, but full of potential. Or full of work, depending on when you ask me.
Did we know what we were doing back then? No. Do we take ourselves very seriously? Heck no.
But the farm? Just ask me about regenerative farming and you'll find out fast how serious we are. I'll talk your ear off. Because we truly believe this is our chance at a future.

For us, our organic certification is the baseline.
Our farming practices prioritize soil health and biodiversity to create a sustainable ecosystem that nourishes our plants and animals.
What does that actually mean?

-
Keeping the soil covered and undisturbed through no-till, mulch, and cover crops
-
Increasing our organic matter through mulch, compost, and livestock rotation
-
Increasing resiliency through crop diversity and pollinator areas
-
Operating with a growth mindset and testing/learning as we go
We hope the end result over time will be a resilient system that not only produces exceptional crops but also combats climate change by sequestering carbon and capturing water resources.

Our goals are big and our To-Do list is mighty, but we are doing what we love and that's what counts.
