Climate anxious? See how we capture almost 4 million gallons of water and 70 metric tons of CO2 yearly with sustainable practices. We’ll learn about soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystems from owner/farmer Margo Redfern. Along the way we’ll meet llamas, micro cows, Valais Blacknose sheep and free-range chickens. Ages 12 & up.
About Us
We look forward to welcoming you to our 56-acre certified organic and regenerative paradise, perched on the stunning Toro Canyon ridgeline of Santa Barbara. Feast your eyes on the breathtaking ocean and Channel Islands views while exploring our amazing farm. We grow olives, Syrah and Grenache grapes, avocados, specialty coffee, citrus, agaves, worms, honey, lavender, and bananas. We also have a handful of fun animals - the rare valais blacknose sheep, llamas, mini donkeys, micro cows, tiny chickens, and our famous Chick Mobiles.
About You
This is a 1.5 hr walking tour. Please wear closed-toed shoes that are ok getting dusty. We also recommend a hat and a water bottle. You'll be walking down (and up!) a hilly landscape with stairs and uneven ground. Given the nature of the terrain, we are unfortunately not set up for strollers, wheelchairs, or walkers. Every guest will need to sign a liability waiver to attend.
